Gesso is an acrylic based preparation for artists' canvases. The beauty of gesso is that it may be used to build up texture and dimension for backgrounds. We use gesso extensively in art journaling for this purpose. Here is a set of a dozen textured gesso backgrounds, ready to add color and character to. They are made 12x12", but may be resized for your convenience. These are especially good for color washes and layering. CU and CU4CU use.
